Chinese New Year open house in KL

I was back home to Malaysia on 20th Feb and returning back to Vieniane, Laos on the 4th Feb for celebrating the Chinese New Year with my family. I have not celebrating the Chinese New Year togather with them for 4 years since 2004. Below are the celebration hat been held in Kuala Lumpur which i taken (the pictures) from the local eNews paper.

Winds of change

It's been a year of change. The US got a new president; so did South Africa. Fidel Castro finally relinquished his hold on Cuba; Putin clung on a little harder in Russia. The Scorpions got the boot, but so did a dismal HIV/Aids plan involving beetroot, garlic and potatoes.

We look back on 2008 and bring you the changes: out with the old and in with the new!
